Allergens are any substances that can trigger allergic reactions, can cause allergies.
Allergens can be divided into 2 groups:
• inhalants (cosmetics, chemicals, metals, mould spores, , dust mite excretion, pollen and pet dander)
• food allergens (usually walnut, chocolate, milk, protein, citrus fruits)
Allergies are an abnormal response of the immune system where the body’s defenses react to a usually harmless substance in the environment, such as pollen, animal dander, or food.
Does everyone have Allergies?
Not everyone. Most humans can tolerate substances such as dust, pollen and foods. Some of those, however, develop oversensitivity towards these substances and they become antigens that trigger the release of antibodies in the body for the protection of the immune system. People inherit a tendency to be allergic, but not to a specific allergen. When one parent is allergic, their child has a 50% chance to be allergic. If both parents have allergies, that risk jumps to 75%.
Through the reduction of our body resistance it is not responding as a defence against the disease. In other words, in our body an error occurs and the immune system attacks its own cells. This causes troublesome inflammation, which brings to end a normal functioning.
Almost anything can trigger an allergic reaction, which can range from mild and annoying to sudden and life-threatening.
Here are the top 10 triggers.
1. Pollens- There are three common sources of pollens: the tree pollen, the grass pollens and the weed pollens. People who have allergy to pollens mainly end up with hay fever.
2. Moulds- They are found in environments that are either hot or damp such as basement, bath and the attic. Moulds can become airborne, thus they can enter the nasal passages down to the lungs. This may lead to allergic rhinitis.
3. Dust mites- Dust mites are microscopic insects that live in the house dust. They thrive in areas of high humidity and feed on the dead skin cells of humans and their pets. Like moulds, these enter your lungs, thereby causing the symptoms of allergic rhinitis.
4. Animal dander- Animal dander that comes from the animal skin flakes is another cause of allergic rhinitis. For those with allergic reactions to animal dander, it is advisable not to keep pets.
5. Foods- FDA recognizes 8 foods that typically cause allergic reactions to humans. These are: eggs, peanuts, milk, tree nuts, shellfish, soy, wheat and sulphites (one of components of coloured and flavoured food). An allergic reaction usually occurs within minutes of eating the offending food
Children that usually are allergic to milk and egg, normally outgrow their allergic reactions.
6. Cosmetics and Fragrances- Allergens are also found in the chemicals that are used in cosmetics and fragrances (in products including perfumes, scented candles, laundry detergent and others). These triggers lead to reactions ranging from rashes to serious immune responses.
7. Medication- Different people react to drugs differently. There are components used in the production of drugs that do not work well with the immune system. Symptoms of allergies to medications differ from mild to life-threatening and can include hives, itchy eyes, congestion, and swelling in the mouth and throat.
8. Insect Stings – People who are allergic to stings can have a severe or even life-threatening reaction. Symptoms such as swelling and redness from the sting or bite may last a week or more. It may also trigger symptoms as nausea, fatigue, and low-grade fever.
9. Latex - Latex in gloves, condoms, and certain medical devices can also trigger an allergy. Symptoms include skin rash, eye irritation, runny nose, sneezing, wheezing, and itching of the skin or nose. But you may also have a serious reaction which can cause difficulty breathing, hives, and sudden gastrointestinal problems.
10. Cockroaches – The protein in their droppings can be a troublesome allergen. It can be difficult to eliminate cockroaches from your home, especially in a warm climate. Make sure that you keep your kitchen clean and repair all the cracks and holes in floors, walls, and windows.
What are the allergy symptoms?
• sneezing
• wheezing,
• problems with breathing – symptoms of asthma,
• runny nose,
• cough,
• skin lesions, swelling,
• itching
• conjunctive irritation, tearing,
• problem with the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat,
• abdominal pain
• heartburn
• redness and limitation of motion in joints.
Allergies, weak immunity, lack of natural bacterial flora all that leads the development of Candida albicans and development of Mycosis. It produces a large amount of free radicals and increases blood viscosity.
What increases the activity of allergens?
• electromagnetic smog – magnetic fields
• smoking,
• alcohol,
• birth control pills,
• candy.
After contact with allergens an allergy occurs, aggression or tension increases and you are more prone to viruses and bacteria.
To defend yourself from allergic reaction or to decrease all reactions in your body you should support your body with natural supplement such as:
• Polynesian Noni – Noni is exceptionally rich in an important molecule called proxeronin that liver uses to produces xeronin. Xeronin acts antiallergic and improves body’s resistance. Present in Noni damnacanthal supports the work of the immune system, which is producing an adequate number of immune cells, effectively combat the disease. Noni also shows adaptogenic properties – stimulates the natural defence and control the immune system.
• Acidophilus – Lactobacillus acidophilus a natural bacterial flora – maintain a good form of your immune system by enhancing the activity of immune cells called “natural killers” and in turn enhances the production of antibodies. Thanks to natural flora you will be more resistant to all allergens around you.
• Omega 3 – Unsaturated fatty acids, Omega-3 stimulate the immune system, therefore increasing the regular use of the body’s immunity. Your immunity is strong enough to fight with allergens.
• Para Protex – Many allergens, microbes enter our metabolism, such as viruses, bacteria, fungi (mould), pet dander and dust mites. Almost 80% of population suffer from mycosis throughout the body. These fungus and not only produce toxins that cause in result many, various diseases and, above all, weaken our immune system. Para Protex copes with all parasites that harass our body. Take it and feel protected from all harmful organisms.
